'The evening lectures take place ... on the second Wednesday of the month from September to April commencing at 7.30 pm. The afternoon lectures take place ... on the fourth Wednesday afternoon of the month from September to November and from January to March commencing at 2.30 pm.'

'We meet on the third Wednesday every month, except in July and August, when we have a rest, and December, when we meet earlier ... Doors open at 7 pm, for a 7.30 start. Admission costs just £2. Refreshments are served, for a nominal charge. Our speakers are chosen to appeal to anyone with an interest in birds, be they a beginner or an expert. Non-members are most welcome, though we hope you will consider joining the RSPB, especially if you attend regularly. We look forward to seeing you!'
