Talks are free with admission, start at 1.15 pm and last approximately 15 minutes unless otherwise stated. 'The LSE events programme - with information on LSE public lectures, talks and seminars - is published three times a year (September, January and April) ... LSE host a public lecture programme (PLP) consisting of over 100 lectures every term. The lectures are free and open to all with some events requiring a ticket so please check the individual web listing. The events generally take place in the early evening and last approximately one and a half hours, including a question and answer session ... We recommend that you arrive at the venue 25-30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start to maximise your chances of gaining entry to the event. Many events are already full before the start time and there is no standing space available in the venues.'
