'Shropshire Beekeeper’s Association is here to help you learn and develop the theory and practical skills to become a beekeeper, to set up your first hive, to develop your own apiary and look after your colonies of honey bees. It involves a significant investment of time and money, especially when you start out. Bees need looking after if they are to be healthy, content and productive.'

'Meetings, lectures, discussions, projects, fieldtrips for all with an interest in the subject, including amateur and professional geologists.'

'The Shropshire Parks & Gardens Trust provides opportunities to learn about the history, design and development of gardens. The Shropshire Parks & Gardens Trust publishes a newsletter twice a year as well as running a series of lectures during the winter months and arranges visits to gardens, not normally open to the public, during the summer months.'
