Here, massive Biomes housing the largest rainforest in captivity, stunning plants, exhibitions and stories serve as a backdrop to our striking contemporary gardens, summer concerts and exciting year-round family events.’

Category Arts Festivals

'The Festival is inspired by the famed author Daphne du Maurier, who spent a large part of her life in and around Fowey, where she took inspiration from her surroundings and created a rich literary legacy of titles set in the Cornish landscape.' Normally held Early May.

Category Local Heritage

'The Fowey Harbour Heritage Society was established in 2012 as a successor to a successful Heritage Lottery funded project. Initiated by Fowey Town Forum, the original project created large information boards around the harbour to give heritage and tourist information, established a talk series, created a website, and trained and accredited local guides to help visitors and residents discover more about the area ...  From July to April each year the Society arranges a series of talks held in Fowey, Bodinnick and Polruan. These are open to all and Members have reduced price entry.'
