'We produce internationally excellent and world-leading research on a diverse range of contemporary issues and historic figures, movements and ideas. We have scholars working across religious studies, historical and systematic theology, biblical studies, and contextual and practical theology and theological ethics. At Chester, we are passionate about sharing our discoveries and about contributing our expertise to public debates. We ensure that the research we do informs the courses we design and deliver so that our students get to benefit from our interests.'
