Overview

'During the Autumn and Winter months we run a series of short morning walks followed by an afternoon talk on a linking theme ... In the afternoon an invited speaker, usually a published author or other expert on the topic, will present their own research or insights. Usually speakers bring slides or a powerpoint presentation. You’ll have a chance to ask questions and have a cuppa/biscuit (donations welcome), courtesy of our “tea time volunteers”. There is a small charge for attending talks (£5) which is reduced for Members (£3) – you can join on the day and benefit immediately!' ALERT Formerly the Yorkshire Dales Society.
