‘A cheery welcome is always available for anyone attending the Luton Branch of the BCSS. We especially welcome younger members and beginners, and we have a number of experienced people in the group who will be only too happy to share their knowledge and give encouragement and help to anyone who needs it.’

'Meets every 3rd Monday of each month ... @ 7.15 pm. Each month there is a demonstration which provides an opportunity to learn new skills and swap ideas. The evening is rounded off with tea and biscuits. We also have a raffle. We have an extensive library of videos covering all aspects of sugarcraft for hire to members for a nominal fee per month.'

'Its function is to trace and preserve any aspect of Caddington’s past (and present) including the surrounding area. It meets once a month with informative and entertaining talks given by local personalities. It is always anxious to collect and archive local memorabilia associated with parish history, events, personalities etc. New members are welcome.'

'The Society meets once a month on a Thursday morning ... There are no meetings in April, August and December. Each meeting consists of a lecture on a wide range of art related topics given by an approved NADFAS lecturer ... There is a waiting list to join the society. Membership is offered in early April when spaces may become available. The annual lecture programme begins each May ... Guests are welcome by prior arrangement with the Membership Secretary ... Guest/Associate member fee is £6 per lecture.'
