Local Society: Saffron Walden

'Exists to promote and enhance the welfare, conservation and protection of badgers, their setts, and their habitats. We are the leading voice for badgers in England and Wales, with a network of around 60 local voluntary badger groups, and supported by thousands of supporters and followers ... They are a great way to get involved, meet other badger enthusiasts and make a difference to your local badgers.'

'The EBKA currently has more than 800 members, some with many decades of practical beekeeping experience, while others are newcomers to the craft, bringing enthusiasm and dedication to their new-found hobby ... Membership of the Essex Beekeepers’ Association is through local groups, known as Divisions ... Each Division within Essex holds a number of talks and meetings throughout the year, covering many aspects of the craft of beekeeping.'
