LECTURES and TALKS2021 Programme

'We are dedicated to the protection, conservation, improvement, and increased appreciation of the parks ... We are composed entirely of members, many of whom are our volunteers. We have no employed or full-time staff. We organise activities throughout the year offering members the opportunity to meet in an informal setting. (In) our Talks ... we learn about such things as local history, the natural world, and insights into The Royal Parks and Historic Royal Palaces.'

LECTURES and TALKSRegular Programme

'Regular meetings are held at four locations around Surrey, which are free for members to attend, where you can meet like-minded people and hear talks on a variety of related topics. Talks vary from family history to social and local history.'

'We inspire, enable and encourage people to get involved with history, whether in the classroom, at college, in the library or at home. We passionately believe the study of history should be accessible to all people at all levels of study ... The Historical Association is an active organisation with events happening up and down the UK. The local branches all have a lively lecture programme open to both members of the association and any general member of the public wishing to come along.'
