Local Society: Bromsgrove

Midland Ancestors - the public face of The Birmingham & Midland Society for Genealogy & Heraldry - is 'the principal family history society for the counties of: Staffordshire, Warwickshire & Worcestershire which surround the city of Birmingham. This includes the areas of the old counties as they existed before the major boundary changes of the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as the areas brought into them by those changes'.

LECTURES and TALKSRegular Programme

'Formed in 1980 to cover the same area as the District Council. Since that date the Society has endeavoured to address all aspects of planning both built and environment in the District. Representation has been made at Planning Enquiries and all applications are carefully monitored.' Within the Society, its Local History Group organizes a series of Talks each year, normally between September and April.
