Open Lectures & Talks'Holds ten evening lectures during the year at 8pm (preceded by a glass of wine) on the second Tuesday of the month ... The lectures cover a wide range of subjects from individual artists to art movements through to music, architecture and the decorative arts. A précis appears in our quarterly Newsletter so you should have an idea of the content of the evening in advance ... Unlike many societies we do not have a waiting list, being fortunate in the size of our meeting venue which is the limiting factor for many groups. Guests are welcome at our lectures (on payment of a small fee).'
