Winter 'A series of monthly lectures. Five are on a Thursday evening usually at the Geography Department of the University of Hull. The March meeting includes the Annual General meeting. One is on a Saturday afternoon and is special public lecture and is often held in the Ferens Art Gallery, in Hull. Every other year one of the winter meetings is a "Members' Evening" where members give talks or exhibit specimens.'
