'Exists to preserve Musselburgh’s built heritage and encourage good-quality new designs which will last into the future ... We run a lively winter programme of monthly talks on diverse subjects such as historic architecture, local archaeology & history, wildlife and conservation projects. We organise trips to places of interest which relate to heritage or conservation. The Musselburgh Conservation Society is a membership-based organisation but all our talks and events are open to the public.'
