Indoor monthly meetings, evenings of the 2nd Saturday: 'The Cornwall Railway Society website, which has been on line since May 2010, was originally planned just to advertise the activities of the society and give details of the organisation and history of the Society. It has, however, since developed into site where enthusiasts can obtain the latest news on the railway scene and go for pictures of the railways in the West Country past and present. We have also recorded some of the many rail tours which have visited the counties'.

‘The Eden Project, an educational charity, connects us with each other and the living world, exploring how we can work towards a better future. Our visitor destination in Cornwall, UK, is nestled in a huge crater. Here, massive Biomes housing the largest rainforest in captivity, stunning plants, exhibitions and stories serve as a backdrop to our striking contemporary gardens, summer concerts and exciting year-round family events.’

'An interdisciplinary centre leading cutting-edge research into solutions to problems of environmental change. Based on the University's Penryn Campus, in Cornwall, our world class research and education is enhancing people's lives by improving their relationships with the environment ... To stimulate innovative thinking and project ideas, our regular Think Tank events bring together researchers and partners from across the University and community to explore concepts that cut across all our themes. This approach allows us to synthesise across fields, and to be dynamic; changing over time to tackle the big questions in environmental and sustainability science.'

'The Fowey Harbour Heritage Society was established in 2012 as a successor to a successful Heritage Lottery funded project. Initiated by Fowey Town Forum, the original project created large information boards around the harbour to give heritage and tourist information, established a talk series, created a website, and trained and accredited local guides to help visitors and residents discover more about the area ...  From July to April each year the Society arranges a series of talks held in Fowey, Bodinnick and Polruan. These are open to all and Members have reduced price entry.'

'The North Cornwall Book Festival is part of the year round activity of the Arts Charity, Endelienta. We welcome people from North Cornwall and beyond to our two days of schools workshops followed by a weekend packed with author talks, workshops, exhibitions and evening concerts.'
