Area: Cardiff

'We are a friendly society which seeks to foster interest in archaeology in the Cardiff area. We have an annual lecture programme which runs fortnightly from October to March, featuring eminent speakers from universities and heritage organisations from around the world. In the summer we have a series of evening field trips to sites of local archaeological and historical interest, together with three full day trips to sites further afield.'

'Every year Cardiff Metropolitan University hosts a series of inaugural lectures delivered by Professors newly appointed to the University. This provides our new Professors with an opportunity to share their research with a broad audience, including members of the public, in the presence of family, invited friends and colleagues. All lectures are open to the public and free to attend.'

'Regular lectures, study groups and workshops covering all aspects of Theosophy ... No previous knowledge of Theosophy is assumed and newcomers are welcome. Other events taking place at Cardiff Theosophical Society include talks on subjects of esoteric and spiritual interest, meditation groups, Sanskrit Mantra Chanting and Huna.'

'Share in our success as a top-five UK university for research excellence and impact. Our events are open to all, and reflect the breadth and depth of our research and courses.'
