Doors usually open around 7.15 pm and there is much to interest visitors in addition to the main speaker of the evening. You can book seats for forthcoming coach trips and a raffle is held during the interval. Tea and biscuits are also available. The atmosphere is friendly and informal, with an opportunity to exchange information with fellow members or seek advice from a number of experienced birdwatching members of the Committee.

Well over 100 of our members are present each month. Futher attractions are a sales table for RSPB and similar goods, bird food sales, information and booking for group outings, RSPB information sheets, refreshments and opportunities for chat. Oh and, of course, a raffle. New friendships are soon made to bring added value to the evening.'
