'Exists to uphold the freedom to use historic vehicles on the road. It does this by representing the interests of owners of such vehicles to politicians, government officials, and legislators both in the UK and (through the Federation Internationale des Vehicules Anciens) in Europe.' .... Amongst the Federation's Strategic Aims, 'Technical and Events is primarily concerned with protecting, preserving, using and promoting classic vehicles, of all types, now and into the future. It supports this by encouraging clubs and owners to organise and run quality events for their members and to engage with the general public, so that our passion for these vehicles is passed on to future generations'.
