'The Society is run to cater for anyone with a interest in Railways and Transport: * Monthly indoor meetings covering many aspects of railway and transport subjects; * Visits to places of railway and transport  interest, including model and miniature railways; * Members Quiz evenings. Each month speakers give talks to visitors on a wide variety of railway and transport subjects, past and present.'
