'We meet on the first Saturday of each month for a demonstration and plenty of opportunities to learn new techniques and make new friends.'
'Meetings and talks are held every third Tuesday of the month from 7.30 pm ... and feature a wide range of topics from vegetables to design and wildlife. Visitors are most welcome - tea, coffee & biscuits are included in the entrance fee of £2 (only £1 when you become a member) and there is a licensed bar. 'Lancashire Humanists provide a forum for people of Lancashire to meet and discuss social, political, religious, philosophical, scientific and artistic issues. Current monthly meetings are held in Preston and we aim to be active across the county – from Blackpool to Burnley and Chorley to Lancaster.'

Public Lecture Series 'Throughout the year, the university is pleased to offer a series of lectures which are open to the public. These lectures are all free of charge. However, if you would like to make a donation to support student scholarship and hardship funds a collection box will be available after each event.
