The Historic Dockyard is a great place to experience 800 years of naval history surrounded by working docks and historic buildings. We have lots of things to do for the kids, plenty of family events, school holiday activities, talks and exhibitions.'

The school holidays sees the Museum bustling with fun activities for children; The summer provides a magnificent opportunity to see the Band of HM Royal Marines play in the Museum’s distinguished grounds, and the November Lecture Series provides a range of involving and engaging talks related to the Royal Marines.'

Research Seminars 'These seminars are a new venture for the Museum. New and established scholars will present their latest academic research, analysis and opinions on their areas of expertise. All seminars will take place in the Princess Royal Gallery, NMRN Portsmouth and are free of charge. Seminars commence at 17.30 and last one hour'.
