'Working people have always struggled to get their voices heard. The Working Class Movement Library is a treasure trove with records of over 200 years of organising and campaigning by ordinary men and women ... We’re a living collection, growing all the time with fascinating donations from campaigners, activist groups and unions ... Our online talks are uploaded each week onto our YouTube channel so you can watch them at your leisure if you can’t catch them live. There are also films of work we have done with young people over the years to help bring our collection to life.'

Branch meetings, held throughout the world, allow members to share their knowledge, experience, and joy of the shipping and naval industries. From the young to the elderly, the membership is diverse and reflects a wide range of maritime or naval history. Yet all share an abiding love for the ships that travel the seas.'
