Membership of the Society is open to anyone anywhere; it is certainly not necessary to possess a coat of arms. All that is required is an interest in heraldry ... The Heraldry Society normally holds a series of public lectures, from September to May each year. These are on a variety of heraldic subjects and are open to the public.'
