'Aiming to encourage, improve and advance apiculture across the county of Lincolnshire and increase public awareness of the importance of bees in the environment. Lincolnshire Beekeepers Association (or LBKA) is made up of 10 districts, which cover the whole county. Each district has its own programme of meetings and events, and members are able to visit any LBKA district meeting and join in ... We aim to promote and provide an open and enthusiastic atmosphere at any of our events and all are welcome ... We also run events ourselves, either directly, or by one of our districts. These include the annual Spring and Autumn Lectures, the Lincoln District Bee Auction and the Bee Health Day.'

'Founded in 1990, the Lincolnshire Family History Society covers Holland, Kesteven & Lindsey, the three parts of our Historic County.'

'The charity was set up in 1995 to bring like minded people together to share interests and skills for the benefit of gardens and gardening, and to encourage the next generation of gardeners ... Membership of Lincolnshire Gardens Trust is inexpensive and would give you the opportunity to: * Receive guided tours of gardens and parks (many not open to the public); * Hear experts talk about their special subject, often linked to a themed garden visit ...'

'SLHA promotes an interest in all aspects of Lincolnshire's heritage.'  Amongst a range of activities, the Society 'arranges lectures and other events about Lincolnshire’s history and archaeology'.
