Open Lectures & Talks

'Meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday of the month starting at 7.45 pm. Sometimes an outside speaker will give a talk followed by questions; other meetings are simply informal discussions. We also hold social events during the year. Non-members are always welcome. A bookstall and small library are on display at meetings, and refreshments are served.'

Some more information

'Because of the wide geographic area covered by Chiltern Humanists different venues are used to enable as many members and others interested as possible to take part in the events. Currently our most frequent venue is Wendover Public Library ... We also meet at the Small Barn Hall, Amersham Community Centre ... Since May 2011, we have also been using the Friends' Meeting House, St Mary's Road, Hemel Hempstead.'
