LECTURES and TALKS2021-22 Programme

Founded 1950:: 'We welcome everyone, from experts to novices and all who care about the future of birdlife in the County. Whether you are a professional ornithologist, amateur birdwatcher or a complete beginner, we value your support and encourage you to participate in Club activities. We organise field meetings to birding sites in Herefordshire and beyond, and an annual programme of talks on a wide range of subjects by local and national experts.'

'We’re now the largest nature conservation charity in the country, consistently delivering successful conservation, forging powerful new partnerships with other organisations and inspiring others to stand up and give nature the home it deserves ... We have more than 140 RSPB local groups around the UK ... You can be as involved as you like with your local group - whether you take part in the extensive events program which each group organises, or get more involved with the everyday running of the group ... Be inspired at an indoor meeting, with illustrated talks, lashings of tea and coffee and the company of like-minded people.'

'SOC exists to promote the study, enjoyment and conservation of wild birds and their habitats across Scotland. On the face of it, the SOC is a birdwatching club with 15 local branches across the country and a growing membership of over 3000. We bring together like-minded individuals with a passion for birds, nature and conservation, through a programme of talks, outings, conferences and via the Club's quarterly members' journal, Scottish Birds. We are heavily dependent on keen volunteers and the support of our membership.'
