'Talks on practical gardening and on beautiful gardens to visit are held monthly in the URC Hall except during the summer. These are illustrated and/or with practical demonstrations. Held mostly in the afternoon, but with a couple in the evening, this is a social event with a raffle, tea, coffee and biscuits plus a chance to chat, and is free to members.'
