'We meet on the second or third Monday in each month ... The talks are generally informal and we welcome anyone with an interest in rocks and landscapes, amateur or professional. The group's aims are to promote an understanding of rocks and landscapes in the Huddersfield area and to produce information for general interest and teaching materials in schools and colleges.'
