A-Z LECTURES and CATEGORIES

Canterbury

'There is something special about a Festival. From cathedral concerts to quirky cabaret, over 60,000 people each October join the Canterbury celebration. In a normal year over 2,000 young people participate in outreach projects and our annual Music Bursary competition draws the very best of young talent. We work year-round with schools, colleges, charities and community groups to engage all ages in creative activity, whilst developing the skills of the artists and performers of tomorrow.'

'If you are interested in Canterbury, its history, archaeology and buildings, then our organisation may be for you. Visit over 800 web pages to see stunning architecture, interesting history and find out about colourful characters who left their mark on Canterbury. We hope you will join us at one of our lectures or one of our excursions to places of interest.'

'Our members are of all ages and abilities and we welcome new and experienced photographers to the club; most members use digital cameras, including camera-phones, and others shoot film. Our meetings feature talks from leading photographers, practical evenings and friendly competitions judged by supportive experts. In the summer we visit different locations to take pictures together.'
