'The Federation is affiliated to the BBKA and is comprised of three local area associations: * Southern District Beekeepers Association; * Western Beekeepers Association; * Ramsey and District Beekeepers Association. There are over 80 registered beekeepers on the island which is blessed with a mild if breezy climate and varied terrain. Each of the clubs hold several meetings through the year sometimes at members’ apiaries.'
