Open Lectures & Talks
'The LAF convenes roughly fortnightly ... Speakers are invited to talk for up to one hour, with a further hour then devoted to questions and discussion – a format that has fostered in-depth and rewarding discussions ... Although primarily designed with philosophers in mind, the LAF often attracts a diverse audience, including art historians, musicologists, curators, practicing artists, and members of the general public ... Our events are free and open to all.'

'The London Aesthetics Forum
(LAF) is an ongoing speaker series in aesthetics at the Institute of Philosophy, founded in 2006 for the express purpose of reviving London philosophical activity in aesthetics.
'To achieve this goal, the LAF has sought to raise the profile of aesthetics in the London philosophical community and actively encourage London philosophers, art theorists, artists and musicians to work in aesthetics.
'Since 2006 the LAF has enjoyed enormous success in hosting a high-calibre programme of speakers, thereby serving as a state of the art research seminar attracting students and faculty members from all over London.'
