Open Lectures & Talks'Our Local History Group operates what we call "open membership". There is no annual subscription. Anyone is entitled to join the Group by entering their name and contact details in the Membership Book ... Meetings commence at 7.30 pm and usually include an illustrated talk by a visiting speaker. Refreshments are provided. An admission fee of £1.50 is payable by those over 18 years of age. Meetings will typically last between 1½ and 2 hours.
