'The popular indoor meetings are held in the Old Waiting Room, Alnwick Station (what is now Barter Books). Meetings start 7.00pm for 7.30pm. We welcome visitors, members and their guests for a small donation towards meeting costs. Refreshments will be available from 7.00 pm.'

'All presentations are held in the roundhouse lecture theatre commencing at 19.30 and finishing between 21.45 and 22.00. Doors open at 19.00. Presentations are held on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Hot and cold drinks are available from the buffet before 19.30 and during the interval. Free parking on site. Admission is normally £1.50 for members and £2.00 for non-members. Everyone welcome.'

Meet 'at 7.30 pm on alternate Wednesdays ... Usually 30-or-so members are in attendance for each meeting, which may comprise a slide or film show, quiz or discussion'.
'The Circle meets every Tuesday evening between the hours of 7.30 pm and 9.15 pm. Alternate meetings take the form of lectures, slide shows, etc. Other evenings are given over to informal discussion, when books from the Circle’s extensive library and the latest magazines are available. Light refreshments in the form of tea, coffee and biscuits are also served. The Circle’s lecture programme covers a wide range of subjects of railway and associated interest (other transport, industrial archaeology, etc.).'

Monthly evening meetings - plus occasional other events: 'Up to one hundred members attend the monthly club nights ... As befits the location, there is a bar available and there is a wide variety of books on sale from "The Railway Bookshop" ... Non-members are always most welcome to the monthly meetings and "Natter Nights" - there is a small fee for admission.'
