'The society meets every third Tuesday of the month (except December) at 7.45 in the Begbroke Village Hall from April to September and in Yarnton Village Hall from October to March. The society has researched with great success into the long past of the villages. Talks are arranged for most months, particularly focussing on local historical topics, and visits are arranged to interesting sites in the vicinity. Members' evenings and informal dinners contribute to its social life.'
