'The London Branch meets six or seven times between September and March ... The meetings take the form of talks, interviews, recitals and film shows. Delius is the usual theme, whether the subject be his music or his life and times, but one event per year is usually devoted to another composer or musician, generally one of his contemporaries. Joint meetings/events with Reciprocal Member Societies are becoming increasingly popular. These weekday evening meetings usually begin at 7.15 pm and last until 9.30 pm, with a break for coffee and biscuits. Members are welcome to join the speaker for supper afterwards.'
